At Dancing Dead Records, our mission is to make the electronic scene vibrate with artists who push the boundaries. This same demand for quality applies to our merchandise. We want every piece you wear to connect you to our universe.
This return and refund policy defines the conditions under which you can return an item purchased from our online store. It complies with current European legislation, specifically Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and the French Consumer Code.
1. Right of Withdrawal
1.1 14-Day Legal Period
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a 14-calendar-day period to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason or pay any penalties.
Starting Point: The period begins from the day you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), physically take possession of the product.
1.2 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
Certain products cannot be returned:
- Personalized or custom-made items (your name printed, personalized limited editions)
- Items unsealed for hygiene reasons (underwear, swimwear, piercings)
- Digital content (music, digital artwork) once the download has started
- Products damaged or altered by the customer
2. Condition of Returned Products
2.1 Acceptance Conditions
To be accepted, the returned product must be:
- New and unworn — No visible signs of use
- Unwashed — The product must not have been washed or ironed
- In its original packaging — With all tags attached
- Accompanied by all accessories — Pins, stickers, and certificates included
- Odor-free — Exempt from perfume, smoke, or other odors
2.2 Inspection and Trial Right
You may try on the garment in the same way you would in a store. However, any item returned with signs of prolonged wear, stains, deformation, or damage may be subject to a refund depreciation of up to 50% or a refusal of the return.

4. Shipping Costs
4.1 Return for Withdrawal
Return shipping costs are your responsibility, in accordance with Article L.221-23 of the French Consumer Code. We recommend using a tracked service with insurance.
- Metropolitan France: Approx. €5 to €10 depending on the carrier
- European Union: Approx. €10 to €20 depending on the country
- International (Non-EU): Variable based on destination
4.2 Return for Defective Product or Error
If the item received is defective, damaged upon delivery, or does not match your order (wrong size, model, etc.), return costs are fully covered by Dancing Dead Records. We will send you a pre-paid return label.
4.3 Loss or Damage During Return
You remain responsible for the package until it is received at our premises. In case of loss or damage during transport, we will be unable to proceed with the refund. It is imperative that you keep your proof of shipment.
5. Refund Deadlines and Methods
5.1 Legal Deadline
In accordance with Article L.221-24 of the French Consumer Code, we process the refund within a maximum of 14 days from the date we receive your withdrawal request. However, we may delay the refund until the returned product is actually received or until you have provided proof of shipment.
5.2 Refund Method
The refund will be made using the same payment method used for your initial order, unless you expressly agree to another method. No additional fees will be charged to you.

6. Product Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish for a different item (different size, color, or model), you must:
- Submit a return request following the procedure above
- Wait for the refund
- Place a new order for the desired item
Tip: To avoid extra delays, you can place your new order immediately after initiating your return request.
7. Legal Warranty of Conformity
Regardless of the right of withdrawal, you benefit from the legal warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).
